Ancient Conversations is inspired by the ribbon like layers of rock formed in a different age that are scattered through out western United States and the small scrubby, yet determined trees that grow seemingly out of bare rock. What conversations could the rocks have with the trees over the life they've witnessed. The painting is mixed media on a 20" x 16" canvas panel board.
